6.2.2   Turbine-driven oil booster pump

In order to ensure the security of lubricating oil supply, oil from the main oil pump discharge is passed through an oil turbine. The oil turbine is mounted on top of the oil tank and drives a submerged cenigal pump. This pump delivers the oil to the main p suction.

A typical example is shown on Fig 2.56.
