2.1.1 Input data
Referring to Fig 4.3, headings 1 to 6 represent the different items of input data which should be as representative as possible. Listed under each heading are the different parameters which collectively constitute the item of input data.
Relevant information or estimates should be available on parameters such as station load factor and seasonal variations in seawater temperature, and values must be decided for parameters such as auxiliary power consumption, and the capital costs of different plant items. Finally, pump characteristics and system resistances are required, from which pumping costs can be input.
